TSUGAMI SS-20 Swiss Turn -
Midwest Introduction
Designed specifically for
short cycle times and premium performance, the SS-20 achieves a
new standard in Swiss capabilities.
Key features include a modular tool zone with up to
twenty-five (25) resident tools, a Fanuc 31i-A dual path CNC,
220mm (8.67”) of stroke, and the most rugged fine ground cast
iron base in the industry. The TSUGAMI SS-20 easily handles
cross and face milling, drilling, and tapping as well as angular
drilling, thread whirling and polygon turning.
A unique modular tooling system offers the perfect
combination of capability and flexibility. The SS-20’s standard
main spindle configuration includes seven turning tools, five
cross rotary tools, and five ID tools, while the standard sub
spindle configuration includes four ID stations, two face drills
